We are situated on one
of the last remaining registered working crofts, also home to
Tobermory Open Farm. On the croft itself you will see some of
the more unusual and beautiful animals from our 4-horned sheep to
exotic rheas. Exhibition poultry, Shetland pony, Toffee the
Highland cow & much more. Also at the open farm, the Farmhouse
Kitchen is open every day from 10am (April - Mid September).
The chalets are nestled
below a natural rock formation which makes them secluded and peaceful.
Nearby, a small waterfall is seen which gives the lodges their name.
The view to the front of the chalets is awe inspiring looking over
Calve Island and the Sound of Mull into the mouth of Loch Sunart.
The Island of Mull is
one of the best hot-spots for wildlife watching. Where eagles
soar, otters splash and red deer are a common sight. The waters
around Mull are a haven for Dolphins and porpoises, seals, minke whale
and more. Local boats provide first class tours.
The white sands of
Calgary Bay are eleven miles away passing the village of Dervaig.
At the south end of Mull is the Isle of Iona, reached by a short ferry
trip. There you will find the famous Abbey
